  • Is there a safe way to lose weight, without counting calories or dieting?

    Yes, I fully support a sensible approach to healthy eating, which encourages a balance of all the major nutrients including fresh fruit and vegetables, quality sources of low fat protein (including fish,) wholegrains, nuts and seeds, and some legumes and beans. How much you eat and the time of day that you eat, is as important as what is eaten. The 10-week Weight Management Program provides the opportunity to identify habits that are sabotaging your efforts of improving your body composition. Long-term goals are established and eating plans are customised for better compliance. 

  • Is a 10-week weight management program long enough to get results?

    Absolutely, the 10-week Weight Management Program focuses on changing poor eating choices and poor lifestyle habits, into healthier, more appropriate habits, for the long-term. Body composition improves as better eating habits and regular exercise become consistent. The program provides menus, food plans and recipes, professional support and monitoring.

  • Will I really feel any different after a detox program?

    Yes! If you have never been guided through a detox program before, I fully encourage you to try one ASAP. The benefits are plenty if you follow a well-structured program, with guidance and support, and some nutritional supplements. You can expect to have much more energy, improved mood, improved digestion, skin condition and immunity, weight loss and much more! (Testimonials)

  • Is it safe to detoxify while I am pregnant?

    No. Detoxification releases toxins or wastes, which can be passed on to the baby. However, it is a very good idea for both partners to detoxify about three to four months prior to conception. This will ensure optimal health for both the eggs and sperm.

  • Will I feel unwell on a detox?

    It is not uncommon to experience a few mild digestive symptoms, like nausea or wind, when you alter your diet and lifestyle significantly. These symptoms usually settle fairly quickly. If they become severe, you can reduce your dose of supplements for a few days. Many of my clients have sailed through their detox and have reported “feeling better and better” as the detox progresses!
